August 20, 2019 - A lot of sediment, faded purple with brown hues; spicy tootsie roll, raisins, cocoa notes as well; smooth glycerine texture, a bit hot, this was ok, but did not excite me. Blind group

July 29, 2019 - This was a slight disappointment after a decade of waiting and after reading other reviews. THe wine has an overall balance and consistency wtih good structure and length, but the impact of somewhat overly stewed ripe prunes on both the nose and palate was not entirely to my liking. From my few tastings of mature 2005 and 2006 CNP, I seem to prefer the more restrained 2006's.....

June 14, 2019 - Fabulous C9dP, earth, ripe cherry, balsamic note, blackberries, black currant, espresso, fig, medium to full body, in a great spot, soft elegant, great long aftertaste!

(Domaine de Beaurenard (Paul Coulon et Fils) Châteauneuf-du-Pape Boisrenard) Dark magenta color; lovely, rich, baked berry, boysenberry, spicy plum and raspberry syrup nose; tasty, concentrated, boysenberry, baked plum, berry and mineral palate with a touch of thyme and good balance; medium finish
