March 23, 2024 - I find that these Sangiacomos need time to hit their stride. This is now in a good place. Rich, red fruit.

December 22, 2023 - Delicious for sure, but not complex enough for a wow score. It's still very fresh and filled with juicy red berry...on the nose, on the palate, and on the finish. I picked up a note of menthol on the nose halfway through the 45-minute decanted bottle. Would a two-hour decant add some complexity? Yeah...maybe. Gonna make a note of that for my remaining bottle.
