January 24, 2021 - Pulled the cork on this bottle before realizing I just had tasted this a few weeks ago… For a 2015 Napa Valley Merlot, it is tight, Tanic, and truly rustic… With some earth, dark/black cherry… And why it’s not speaking to me is because it was failure to open up after several hours… Maybe I should’ve waited? Open this a year later, or maybe it’s just one of those that never comes around…? I love Merlot, and even though I may not give this the biggest score I do have a fondness for perhaps the effort, and its lovely chewiness. I guess I’ll never know, this is the last bottle…

December 24, 2020 - Tightly wound up, pencil lead, spice, and versing us on the nose. Medium acidity, slightly firm tannins, minimal finish… Just OK
