April 13, 2024 - Oh, I am sorry that this is the last of a case, but every bottle has been stellar. No rating, as per Cappellano's wishes (read the back label; what a statement!) but this is easily the best Barolo I've ever experienced. The tannins have melted, and the wine itself is melt-in-your-mouth scrumptious. So, so good. Could go for a couple more years, maybe many more, but I chose not to wait, and I am 100% happy with that decision!

March 24, 2024 - Unfortunately a terrible TCA taint here!

March 5, 2024 - Decanted for 2 hours, which was certainly helpful. Deep and powerful, with dark red fruit, & notes of licorice and tar. Very tasty Barolo!

November 18, 2023 - Much better than the 04 version and totally singing, though certainly on the early side of its peak drinking window. The baritone tar notes really come out in the Cappellano wines, even though they are still red fruited and floral. Lovely contrast.
