April 4, 2022 - PnP’d & was ready to go. Berry & cassis flavors, good balance. Very nice.
August 25, 2021 - Been 3 years since last bottle and this is developing nicely. Bold napa cab with all the dark fruit notes that i love. This will continue to smooth out with more cellar time
April 18, 2021 - Very enjoyable cab that offers more than simply ripe dark fruit. There’s some real complexity on the palate, along with good acidity that helps it pair well with dinner. This is a solid QPR for a Napa cab at $60, and my wife enjoyed it even more than I did. I look forward to having it again.
August 23, 2020 - Quite enjoyable even at this young age... Good structure, depth, and precision.
August 12, 2020 - Decanted again for an hour, similar results to last bottle, still predominantly red fruit profile but I wouldn’t say it came across tart this time. Put half the bottle back in the cellar for day two and it performed it’s best at that point. A very balanced and lovely wine.
Cellar this or give it a long decant.
June 24, 2020 - 2 hour decant and consumed over another 2-3 hours.
Predominately red fruited, tart cherry, cedar, baking spices/vanilla. Has plenty of acidity and tons of grip from the tannins with a relatively long finish. This would work well with food, especially something with a fair amount of fat to it.
Definitely recommend the decant, but better to hold for a couple years.
May 2, 2020 - 2016. Great structure and complexity with layers of Chocolate, plum and cherry. Better than 2015 and 2017 vintanges IMO.
April 13, 2020 - Chocolate, cherries, cedar, rock, earth, ,spice, silky tannin, leather
December 15, 2019 - PnP'd - this either needs time or a several hour decant. The structure & the fruit is there - just a little more time for everything to come together.
October 13, 2019 - Agree this needs another year or two.
