February 13, 2024 - Excellent wine that we drank up against a 2005 Dominus for contrast. Dark brambly fruit, plum, blueberry and cassis, aromatic wood, grilled lamb, leather and light floral notes greet the nose. Concentrated and bodied, still carrying sharp tannin but is fairly smoothed out with good acidity for such a big meaty wine. Many evolutions in the glass. I think the window is longer than what is indicated here on CT, and would think this could easily push into the early 2030s. Fantastic.

August 24, 2023 - Flirted with 93 but this one was a touch less powerful than other vintages or the regular bottle. Still a treat to drink, just wish it were cheaper.

February 12, 2023 - Still feel the same. Had after a 2014 saxum James berry and it could be the better bottle. Saying alot. Both sensational ready as pop and pour
