March 10, 2023 - Holy crap..pop and pour and off the charts. Dark/black fruit. Fresh and vibrant. Long smooth finish. Probably too young but so delicious. Round and rich with integrated tannins that don't distract during the meal. Chipotle chicken tacos are a great match as per my usual tacos and Tempranillo pairing that I love. Tannins are more prevalent without food.. hold or drink if you like big fruit.luckily I have a couple more bottles to see how it further develops but not sure I can resist opening them soon...

November 6, 2022 - Dark red. This has calmed down and is now a beautiful dense red. Lots of fruit. Restrained tannins and nice acidity. The sense of alcohol I had in the first bottle seem to have disappeared.

November 14, 2021 - Nose shows sweet blackberry, black raspberry, and violets. Black currant, black licorice, peppery black soil and charcoal notes. Layers of mineral-rich earth and slate with thick tannins, adding black plum, black gifs, and long, lingering tannins and oak. Huge wine but it's a bit one-dimensional.

February 20, 2021 - Nose of black cherry, plum, chocolate, and ash. Rich palate of black cherry, black pepper, spice, and blackberry. Dried herbs, oak, vanilla, red raspberry, and earth on the finish.

    February 19, 2021 - Slow oxed for 2 hours.

Initially fruity on the nose. Something games/meaty hiding in the background.

Plush, round mouthfeel. Really gorgeous, almost weightless. Quiet Lion hits it on the head - “espresso martini” is what comes to mind on the palate. It’s like capturing and distilling the smell of chocolate-covered espresso beans.

It’s not hugely tannic but there’s enough here to keep another 5-7 years. Great effort from Booker.
