February 17, 2021 - Copper-gold, fine mousse; pears, apples, strawberries, bread dough, chalk; off-dry, lemon, cherry, apple, minerally, slightly yeasty, light body, good acidity, lingering finish
Richly coloured with cherry, strawberry and citrus flavours.
Would have liked more bubbles. Good.

July 27, 2019 - July 2019 Trip to the Finger Lakes; 7/27/2019-7/28/2019 (Seneca Lake): Tasted at the winery. Really nice sparkler. This combined with some of the other really high quality sparklers we've tried coming out of the region (like Damiani, Ravines, and Konstantin Frank), makes me think there may be a even bigger future for sparkling from the area.

Definitely the body of a blanc de noir, with medium plus acidity, some nice citrus, stone fruits, and apple. Soft mousse. A little musty on the finish, but I don't think it took away from the wine.

June 14, 2019 - Tasted at the winery. A mix of apple and white cherry on the nose. Nearly medium bodied with apple and strawberry upfront and slightly deeper white cherry and peach through the middle. Bubbles are fine grained and acidity, coupled with the tart citrus notes on the back provide good contrast. As compared to the 2012, this wine showed just a touch less in terms of depth and complexity (mostly I think, due to vintage differences) and this 2013 had a very small disjointed note in the transition to the finish that I think will smooth out with time. Has the structure to drink well over the next 4 years or so.

June 10, 2019 - Light bronze color. The nose shows toasty aromas of nuts, orchard fruits, minerals, apple blossom and a hint of strawberry. This is medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and good finesse. The fairly long finish features a mineral element.

February 13, 2019 - I was already a big fan of the 2012 vintage of this wine but the 2013 takes this to another level. A big and powerful sparkler, masculine and textured. Loads of citrus in the mid, but balanced by acidity into a well rounded wine.
