April 12, 2020 - Dark, intense flavour of blackcurrant jelly, with hints of graphite, bay leaf, and balsamic vinegar. Palate opens with rough, grainy tannin and strong acidity, then leads into a smooth (but still strongly tannic) mid-palate. This has started to be smoothed out by age, but it's still very intense, and likely has a long life ahead of it.

October 24, 2019 - Really good structure/body. Fuller bodied, good fruit, background hint of coconut/wood. Good length, balanced acid and soft tannins.

May 22, 2019 - This was a beautifully made wine with a lovely smooth finish. It improved markedly with standing and was magnificent to the last drop.
