May 26, 2023 - Bought 3 bottles from the tasting room in September 2018. Opened the first bottle in April 2019 and was surprised by the disjointed wine that didn’t match what I remembered from the tasting room. Opened the 2nd bottle tonight and still not rolling my socks up and down though certainly improved. Deep purple, medium aromatics, and better palate with high acidity and medium plus tannins, but it still doesn’t come together in a distinctive way for me. Given the dramatic improvement from the first bottle to this one, however, I’ll be curious to open the 3rd bottle in a couple of years to see how the wine has continued to mature.

March 14, 2020 - Cassis, tobacco, bell pepper and obvious oak. Good structure, and ballance if the oak integrates. Can imagine it being very elegant in 5 years.
