Community Tasting Notes 4

  • Moloko Likes this wine: 90 points

May 4, 2022 - Not much of fan of Barossan shiraz but this is in a really good spot at the moment.

  • Moloko Likes this wine: 90 points

August 23, 2019 - A little jammy but opens up with a nice balance of acidity and tannin. Should cellar

  • Eric gene Noack Likes this wine: 91 points

    August 2, 2019 - At first I smell yeast.
    Then alcohol and oak.
A boutique producer using vines planted back in 1880 and only 32 acres or was that hectares ?
Well balanced medium to dark colour.
medium fruit, soft tannins little acid if any.
Drinking well now and will perhaps survive another 2 years .

July 13, 2019 - Barossa be consumed (Carriageworks, Redfern): Gamey blackberry, slightly meaty, slightly confected, savoury blackberry. Tight chewy tannins dominate proceedings. Nah.
