April 6, 2024 - Unfortunately oxidized. Overripe, full of tannins, not pleasant.

February 3, 2024 - In my experience drinking really well for a relatively young Percarlo, which often takes time. Punchy and fruit driven. Perfect condition. Glad I tried now and pleased there are a couple more put away.

November 24, 2023 - Bordal à Onex (VSU, Mission, Clos de Beze, Percarlo, Rieussec..) (Belle-Cour): De mémoire. Excellent, confondu avec CdB, cerises noires, ronces, masculin, complexe, très long.

October 23, 2023 - The high alcohol worried me (15%), but wow this is an amazing wine. Probably the best 100% Sangiovese that I've ever had. The depth, texture and power of the wine are second to none. And it has great elegance and an endless finish. The fruit is fresh, acidity is perfect, and there are loads of fine tannins on the palate (but they aren't too drying). I think this will gain complexity with age, especially as the tannins mellow out a bit more, but this is a real treat to drink, even at this young age. 96+

September 15, 2023 - - 1h open, very accessible nose with light and dark fruit, sweet wild berries and cherries, plums, stony, herbal, blood oranges, iodine, the wood is delicately integrated. And the Percarlo also has a certain coolness to it that I appreciate.
    - Smooth on the palate, nice to drink with good acidity. The tannins are medium plus but of very good quality. Excellent finish and the wine conveys a lot of tension.
    - Should be decanted for 2-3 hours or preferably cellared for 4-5 years
    - 94 points
