  December 31, 2021 - On the second day, the sulphur smell I noted yesterday is gone. Interestingly, the Sangiovese is now much more prominent. Had it with cheese plate. Next bottle I will decant for a few hours or open a day earlier.

  December 30, 2021 - Popped and poured. It had a sulfury smell, needs some air to breathe. I used the vintury, this seemed to help a bit. Not much of sangiovese going on, cab is more dominant, as noted by others. Rather light wine. Had it with pasta. Will retry tomorrow after more air exposure.

  February 25, 2021 - Dark ruby red in color. Black cherry, pepper and black fruit on the nose. Smooth, fruit forward and not complex. Low acidity. If there is sangiovese in the mix, I certainly don’t pick it up as the international varietals dominate on the nose and palate. Good value.

  February 5, 2021 - Perfectly good vino di tavola. Neither exciting or disappointing--just a nice, acidic red to flush your palate...particularly if you are having a dish with tomato sauce.
