October 15, 2023 - Translucent ruby. Fresh cherries and hint of rose petal ont he nose. Medium body, medium-to-medium plus acid, medium tannins. Red fruit with nice tanning frame and nots of tar on the palate. Tightly wound. After 10 days under repour this opened up nicely with some lovely cherry cordial on the palate. Definitely hold for a few more years.

November 8, 2019 - The nose was gorgeous and quite spicy, showing citrus-tinged red berry fruits, wild herbs, dried florals and dusty earth. On the palate, silky textures with rich dark red fruits flooded the senses, giving way to exotic brown spice, inner savory herbal tones, stunning acids and subtle tannins. The finish was long, showing it’s young tannins, balanced by resonating red fruits and acids with a slight twang of savory spice. I never would have pegged this for a ‘15 due to its remarkable balance.
