September 1, 2019 - Pale-medium Ruby color. Alluring aromas of red roses, red fruits, and spices. Intense flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, and strawberry are accompanied by notes of wood and baking spices.
Alcohol is med+, acid medium, tannins medium. Will definitely buy again. -

August 28, 2019 - Floral, slightly earthy, juicy sweetness, high acidity. Nice wine, but a sweeter style that I don't prefer.

October 6, 2018 - Taste Top Wines for Oct (San Diego Wine Co.): From a cool, sandy vyd 14 mi from the Pacific; 100% destemmed; Native yeasts; Aged 11 mos in FR oak barrels (22% new, 22% 1 yr old, & 56% seasoned); 94 cs bottled 8/8/17;
N: BRIGHT melding of cherries/straws/rasps, with minerals underneath?
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by some astringency which morphs into a LONG, bitter/SWT choc finish. Deserves another 6-12 mos, then drinking for the ff 3-4 yrs. Nicely done! 14% ABV; My EXC-. 92 pts WE @ $46. [This vendor's $24.99 is $15 < wine-searcher's only listing!]
