Nice deep grenat color, right from the get-go you expect something quite massive for a Pinot Noir.

On the nose, this idea seems to take root: blackberry, blueberry and strawberry are all taking part... very generous and rich, almost jammy.
Upon drinking, we are convinced, it is quite massive, rich and round. Cocoa, vanilla bean, earthy and a touch of green bell pepper, nicely placed flavors.
The alcohol is here, but it is balanced. The finale is of a nice length, soft and silky.

A New-World take on the varietal, to be sure, it pleases instantly.
Controled and quite expensive in Canada (25$ CAD), but its generous aspect helps it nicely.
This is a safe buy and a certified crowd-pleaser.

March 6, 2020 - Burgundy-looking fruit-driven pinot noir, strawberry, red berry, oak. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol @ 13.2% and medium(-) body. Easy going, pleasant and with good length finish with some tannin..

January 15, 2020 - Deep garnet hue with medium saturation. Aromas and flavors of cherry, pepper, sage, smoke, strawberry, and violets. Medium body, medium tannins, and medium-high acidity. Elegant, smooth, and complex.
