August 26, 2022 - Well-sculpted, intense and well balanced showing red and black fruits as well as expresso flavor in the back palate. Medium bodied, medium acidity and fine grained tannins that are showing that this baby has more mileage in the tank. Well done! NI:4, FI:22, FC:8, B:4, L:4

    June 23, 2020 - Tasted next to the 2014.

Gave this a PNP and enjoyed more than the 2014. Thinking these are better drunk young than old. Structure lacking ?

Starts with cherry fruit, lavender, very floral, and a tobacco leaf essence. Mid palette sage, more red fruits and then finish lingers for 30 seconds with bigger, meatier body fresh fruits. I am thinking that this wine is best now.

June 2, 2020 - Needed a few hours in a wide base decanter to open up, red fruit dominant, cherry, cassis, dried rose petals, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, great intensity and balance. Very young now, but with enough air this is quite good now. Should age for more than a decade.

May 31, 2020 - Beautiful dark ruby red and violet in color. Initial scents of white cherry, red plum, fig and coca-cola - this wine is definitely towards the sweeter side. The first sip is bombarded with juicy cherries, soft tannins, medium alcohol. Medium finish with hints of warm oak, vanilla and baking spices at the very end.
