Community Tasting Notes 2

March 31, 2009 - The palate balance here at first seems decent, with some leesy, toasted hazelnut richness and green apple acidity. But the nose is a little fishy and weird, and the aftertaste slightly metallic. From the appearance of the cork, this bottle was probably exposed to some heat at some point in its lifetime. This too often seems to be the price you pay with closeouts.

July 18, 2007 - Lots of sulfur when first opened. Decanted with lots of splashing around. After about an hour it was quite enjoyable, good persistence on the finish.
