July 5, 2021 - At the bottom of my Bevan favorites BUT with that said he makes so many tremendous and outstanding wines this is still quite good. Medium + body, full tannin, a tad linear on the palate. The aromas outperform the taste which can be seen with Cab Franc, this one being 75% Cab Franc with 25% Cab Sav. The dark fruit profile plays a supporting role here. Still enjoyable and interesting as it deviates from what one expects from a typical Bevan wine. Cheers

December 10, 2020 - Decanted 2.5 hours, opened up with a total of three. Stunning and unusual Bevan with stony minerality, spice cake, black and red berries, graphite, long finish. The flavors are pure and intense with strong tannic support. Cab Franc lovers should delight in this beautiful cuvee from Russell Bevan.

December 6, 2019 - Found this to be lovely. Decanted for about 90 minutes, Drank over two hours. Typical Bevan style with dark fruits and very fine tannins. Well balanced and approachable, but enough backbone to stand up to some Wagyu strips.

May 26, 2019 - PnP no notes. needed more time. Not typical BC I was looking forward to. Last bottle or would hold to see if things come around.
