February 21, 2019 - Identical to my previous notes. Playful, energetic fruit of cranberries and red cherries, fresh and transparent, delicate bitters, high-quality low-toast oak, primary and precise, hint of cream, very good resonance and length. My final bottle unfortunately, so I will not witness the 5+ years of positive development ahead of it. It is just so good now!

February 12, 2019 - N: parselly, marcipan, black pepper, plum in madeira, dark berries.
P: light, fruity, medium acid, medium/low tannin, bitter, pepper, sour cream.

    Complex, delicious, balanced. Recommended.

October 4, 2018 - VinoLaprisco Tasting (Restaurant De Karpendonkse Hoeve *, Eindhoven, Netherlands): The first red Moselle for many of the participiants tonight and it was widely appreciated. It is easy to see why, with its freshness and fruit, its polished manner and well integrated oak.

September 14, 2018 - Brief decant, 13.5% ABV. Essentially this is a fresh and minerally wine, with supple fruit of cranberries and red cherries, and it is helped along nicely by a judicious touch of smoky oak. I like the precision and persistence on the palate, with lovely notes of bitter chocolate and black pepper. The tannins need a bit longer to resolve. A Lagenwein for the price of a modest Bourgogne Rouge - very good QPR. Probably 90 today but with considerable upside. Will buy. On the terrace at the estate.
