September 30, 2023 - Nose: strong aromas of chamomile, flowers, and flor. Yeast, bitter almonds, and dust. Palate: high acidity, chalky texture, saline, savory and dry, smooth and strong long finish.

August 4, 2023 - My first Manzanilla sherry. Nutty and bruised apple aromas. Bone dry, and bitter on the palate with a salty tang. Medium bodied, low acidity with long finish. A Marmite wine that has hints of actual Marmite! Personally, not for me.

January 2010 (link)(NV Bodegas Hidalgo Manzanilla Pasada Pastrana) The only single-vineyard Manzanilla, produced from Hidalgo's Pastrana vineyard. Pasada means it has just started to oxidize–not surprising, as the wine is aged 10 years, and the flor is beginning to die off. This unique Sherry has a warm, golden color, a yeasty nose and some almond and floral notes. Full-flavored, but delicate. Appellation: Sanlúcar de Barrameda

12/10/2007 (link)(NV Hidalgo Pastrana Manzanilla Pasada) Crisp and minerally with lovely oxidative notes that are perfectly integrated with some nuttiness and salty minerality. There is a richness and fullness of body to this that is not in the regular Hidalgo Manzanilla due to the extra aging.
