August 27, 2022 - Lariana "Thirteen" to "Eighteen" Vertical, and some BC Rosés: Had as part of a "Thirteen" to "Eighteen" vertical (I didn't have the foresight to keep any "Twelve").

Nicest colour – deep dark red. Hint of green pepper notes. Big alcohol. Similar in style to an Orin Swift wine. A solid wine, but the alcohol overwhelms and not as complex a finish as the Sixteen or Thirteen.

    10 tasters - Ranked 4 of 6.

October 25, 2021 - 2015 Best of BC Bordeaux Blends: 63% CS, 20% Syrah, 17% Carm. Dark vibrant crimson colour. Bright luscious nose. Fruits on the palette - cherry, blackberry, and probably some cassis but I don't actually know what cassis tastes like. The Carm brings some subtle greenness. Relatively short finish. Soft tannins, likely nearing its peak.

On the first date, you think you want to marry it - after a few more hours with it, you're not as sure.

May 13, 2021 - Dark ruby in colour with aromas of a distinct herbal note, sweet black fruit, crushed gravel & subtle oak.
On the palate, medium to full bodied tart black fruit, blackberry, cassis, blueberry, subtle notes of herbal & oak with medium to high acidity & high soft tannins. Finish is long to spice/pepper & this is lovely wine that could probably benefit from more cellar time.
Definitely tasted better night #2, more cellar time recommended.

February 13, 2021 - Dark cherries, hints of oak, a bit of a huh to it in the entry but a delightful finish.

Day 2 - more mellow, fruit shining through - Licorice and cherry. Pretty darn good for a BC blend.

December 22, 2020 - Lots of dark red fruit on the nose (cherry, berries, cassis) with some smoke and leather. Structured but balance tannins and acid. Med-long finish. Great bottle of wine - wish I had more than one...
