October 17, 2019 - This is not the type of Cab Franc that I am used to drink. This wine is unfined, unfiltered with natural yeast. The color is very light muddy red and cloudy. On the nose, it's bursting of mostly red berries, with spice and violet. On the palate, it's fresh red berries, savory herbs and spices accompanied by leather and earth. The finish is medium. This wine has the potential to get me off the typical BC Cab Franc and push me toward this naturally lovely and fantastic style of Cab Franc.

February 22, 2019 - Nose: stems & ash, there’s red fruit buried in there somewhere.
Palate: smoky & bitter, almost amaretto meets talisker, faint feeling of carbonation, sour sour sour underripe red berries.
This may not be everyone's cup of cab franc, but I love it.
