January 27, 2024 - Nice composition, settling down and becoming the wine you expect. Delightful depth of character, beautiful texture and smooth supple presentation.

December 28, 2023 - If you have any bottles of 2015 Luciano Sandrone Le Vigne in your wine cellar, leave them there. Despite my better judgement I made the mistake of opening my bottle. It is a tannin bomb that needs many years of cellaring before it can be drunk. I'm not sure what the CT community is tasting, and my advice is hands off.

November 5, 2023 - Pnp and drank over 3 nights. Definitely approachable already with primarily cherry flavors and just a hint of tar. Incredibly strong acidity but it was balanced with present but not overwhelming tannins and an incredibly smooth body. Every Sandrone Le Vigne I drink is just so well made. Never a bad experience, even when they are a bit on the young side. 2015 is an underrated vintage IMO. Despite the heat, the wines are well balanced. Good now but will keep getting better for 10-15 years. I did think it was best on night 1 with more tannins appearing in night 2 and 3.
