Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Sean Tay Likes this wine:

September 28, 2019 - 375ml. Had 2 bottles of 1949 Pavie. Contributed by Fine Wines's boss. What a treat. Typical nose and palate of earth, forest floor, truffle, smoke, tobacco. I realised that Pavie had the capability to age well. I had tried several Pavie and all show consistency or potential.

June 22, 2019 - Richter Raritäten Vol.VII (Magnums only) (Farnsburg): Very dark, clear and dense color. Coconut, banana, chocolate, porcini, creamy and long.
There was a comment that “This wine in all his beauty might be a bit simple”. Who cares: it’s beautiful and above all fun to drink
