December 8, 2023 - A bouquet of fruit on the nose. This is a very fruit forward wine with first tastes of blueberry, strawberry and blackberry followed by a just right warm oak and mildly grippy tannins. The end has a "pop" of cherries for a wonderful finish. As I told my wife, anywise that has you say "mmmm" after each sip hast to get a good rating. I was at a 93 and my wife was at a 92-3. It's a lovely wine.

Did the Mollydooker Shake and the decanted for around an hour. My sense is that it is very drinkable now and shouldn't be aged much longer.

Served alongside of veal chops with a balsamic and maple glaze with a pistachio crust accompanied by pearlized cous cous with basil, a medley of vegetables and semolina bread.

June 25, 2022 - Drank with dessert after a 2013 Leeuwin Chard with main meal. Nice wine with black and red berries. Probably needs a couple of hours decant and/or more time in the cellar. Came across as not yet fully integrated.

February 12, 2022 - Day decant. It needs it.
    Dark, dense purple juice
Vanilla and baking spice. Loads of dark fruit.
Balanced. Jammy but everything is there. Not one dimensional. Really liked this bottle. Will no doubt get better. Case worthy!

    Steaks and lobster tails tonight

October 15, 2021 - Knap så imponerende som 2016, men stadig en rigtig dejlig vin. Masser af fylde eftersmag og drinkability.

July 19, 2021 - Nose shows black raspberries, rustic red fruits, and light cinnamon. Palate includes milk chocolate, jammy blackberry, raspberry, mocha, and coconut that's followed by a line of herbs including thyme, oregano, and rosemary. Finish provide a quick rush of thick tannins and black raspberry then a port-like alcohol note, finishing relatively short. Fun wine to drink.

December 14, 2020 - Did not disappoint. this and C0fL have always been over priced in my eyes - hovering around $90USD. They have finally dropped to $70 so i thought I would give them a try. lush and actually more balanced than I was expecting.

February 14, 2020 - the Cab gives this more restraint and depth. Dig it more than the Carnival of Love. Same dark raspberry and chocolate notes, but it tastes like it has less RS. 94

November 19, 2019 - Deep raspberry/blackcurrant on the nose (Ribena to those who lived in England). This is thick and lush on the palate, overwhelming cassis fruit and vanilla, lots of tannins which you don't notice because of the enormous fruit. This is a huge, hedonistic wine for people who love fruit forward, rich wines. Very long finish, mild spicy coffee notes, delicious after-taste. A very, very enjoyable wine that is expensive for me, yet clearly value if I compare it to other wines I love and can't afford (Valbuena, No 5, Glaetzer Amon Ra, Henschke Mount Edelstone, Phelps Insignia)

Note: "Fruit bomb" gets applied to many very different wines. At 3.0g/L residual sugar this bears no resemblance to Caymus (allegedly 10 g/L), which I found undrinkable.
