  September 8, 2018 - Showing well, dark inky color, fresh nose, taut deep fruit on the palate with olive and earth notes. Better with food. Nice.

  March 3, 2012 - Ripe, fleshy/rounded mouthfeel. Just enough acidity to not make it feel heavy. Ripe plums, cracked pepper, moroccan spice. Finish is lengthy, deep and brooding with plums and spice.

Dark fruits and spice on the nose, but nothing other than oak noticeable on the palate. I will revisit this on day two to see if opens, but I think this may have been gone.

  January 18, 2012 - Very nice wine, with good Syrah typicity, rich ripe fruit combined with some N. Rhone character. Silky tannin. My only quibble would be that there is a bit of noticeable heat on the finish which, combined with the wines richness, makes it a bit heavy. Still a really nice wine, though.
