February 11, 2019 - MNB: Washington (Home (Noe st)): (blind)
Medium ruby to a red rim.
On the nose, oak, slightly fresh, slightly stewed bell peppers, slight blackberry.

15% alcohol (actually 14.2%), elevated acid, medium plus tannins - a bit papery. Nice cedar and tobacco with ripe blackcurrant on the midpalate. Really hot though. 50% new French oak.
2014 Washington Cabernet, $60 - despite the slightly light color.

    Estimated TA: 5.8
Actually: LTL 2016 Cab Sauv red mountain red wine - Actually $30!
Analysis: This is pretty darn good!

January 21, 2019 - Just not my style. dark ripe fruit, maybe age will help but just did not enjoy.

November 24, 2018 - Quintessence and Shaw vineyards; new French oak aging

Dark firm tannins permeate dark brambles and sage. Surprisingly complex for entry-level red. Beautiful balance
