August 22, 2016 - Light bodied and full flavored. Different style Nero, but loved it.

April 12, 2016 - Not as flavorful, a bit thin and astringent. Possibly excessive age. Possibly because i have a cold - will revisit again tomorrow.

April 27, 2015 - Definitely a real good wine for the buck but does not look like I enjoyed it as much this time as 2 years ago. PnP thru a Vinturi and started in on it almost immediately. Followed the 2008 Lamuri and we definitely liked that one more. Not that this was seemed like it was fading, though. Will crack open another one soon to see opinion is consistant...then maybe another one with a decant this time as that is what I probably did 2 years ago when I was so high on this wine...

February 16, 2014 - Still drinking well, very good with lighter food. Lemon and garlic chicken, in this case.

January 15, 2014 - Very pleasant Nero d'Avola. Medium bodied, structured tannins with baked red fruits. Long finish.

This is an outstanding value wine from a very consistent producer. Highly recommended.
