September 26, 2018 - Trader Joe’s 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Red Mountain:
Couldn’t find this wine on cellar tracker. Label indicates it is lot #173
This is a terrific $10 wine, that is better on day 2 than day 1. Red mountain is home to some of the best vineyards in Washington State. Notes of black cherry and spice on the nose and palate. Good mouthfeel with a medium finish. Not as good as the 2016 Trader Joe’s Reserve Petite Verdot Paso Robles, but still enjoyable.
