October 15, 2023 - PnP; beautiful chocolate and spice nose; full-bodied, wonderful balance and long finish that matches the initial aromas. This was an outstanding bottle of wine.

March 17, 2023 - Opened and decanted the wine for about 60 minutes

A lovely wine, especially for the price point. On the nose, it started off with pepper, blackberry, fennel/anise but quickly started to show savory notes of Olives with baking species - vanilla and cloves. It was medium low from both an acidity and body perspective, especially for a cabernet. You could get notes of chocolate, coffee on the palette.....

All in all, an excellent wine... Drinking very well.....

June 26, 2021 - This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich and extracted. Spicy and interesting.

Showing blackberries, coffee, cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn, figs, raisins, vanilla, licorice and black pepper.

Full bodied, big and bold, with medium acidity.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Nicely balanced and fruit forward. Tasty and delicious. Loved smelling on it for a long time.

Good right out of the bottle, but so much better after 2 hours of airtime.

I had this vintage over a year ago, and it is so much better now. Will be even better in 5 years.

A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon with some Malbec and Petit Verdot. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    94 points.

    $75.

January 9, 2021 - Excited this is seems to be a cult favorite

Nose: blackberry, pencil lead graphite, crushed gravel, an interesting hazy anise, baking spices, a little vanilla, I could go for a while there is really a lot here and it’s alllllll good.

Interesting black fruits, black licorice, not very dry and not a lot of tannin. Inky and juicy, body is medium, vanilla, peppery, and jammy.

July 4, 2020 - PnP; impressive cassis, caramel and chocolate aromas; full-bodied red fruit and fine tannins with a subtle pomegranate note that finishes very long; a memorable introduction to the Pelissa family wines.
