  November 11, 2021 - This hit its stride about 3 hours in so my suggestion is to give it a nice decant, no PNP here. Actually it was quite harsh early on. Dark fruit and earth on the nose. Same on the palate and very pleasant. Tannins are present, but pleasant. Nice mouthfeel. This is ready to go now but may continue to evolve for a few more years. No need to rush.

  November 1, 2020 - Nice notes of blackberries, coffee, mocha and mint. Layers of ripe figs, peppercorns, allspice and licorice.

  January 15, 2020 - An excellent blend of Cabernet and Syrah along with Cab Franc and Petite Sirah from different vintages. Steve Sherwin always does an amazing job with this blend. I got some notes of spice box, purple and just a hint of black fruit, as well as some terrific aromatics. It was a pop and pour. Glad I have one more to taste. A nice well rounded Cab like quality to it. If I had to guess it tastes like 70%-80% Cabernet with the rest of the varietals being incorporated. Plenty of time to enjoy it but if you have a reason to open one, I highly recommend this. Might be the best Scraps I have had thus far.
