March 5, 2024 - Fennel pollen and blackberry on the nose. Slightly tart juicy boysenberry and blackberry, violets and white pepper on the palate. Medium acidity on a moderately long juicy finish.

April 5, 2023 - Classic- more northern Rhône than cali. After an hour of air this is singing. Great Syrah aromas of olive paste, charred beef and stewed plums. Sleek and smooth palate. Pure and layered and very long. Outstanding balance.

December 11, 2022 - While objectively a good wine, this just hasn't seemed to come together in the two years since I first tried it. At this stage it's actually quite disjointed and between identities. Maybe it just needs much longer than I was willing to give it, but it may also just be a good wine without a lot of aging potential. Notes of red plum, blackcurrant, pepper, compost, dark chocolate and a hint of menthol. Satin texture, with tart red fruit a peppery finish and sinewy tannins.
