July 20, 2016 - Lovely mature nose showing leather, wet soil and sweet red fruit. Palate is showing smooth tannins and with a warm sweet finish. This was better than expected after such long time in the cellar, but I think it was better a couple of years ago. Decanted for half an hour before pouring into glasses to make sure it opened up.

August 1, 2012 - Red colour in the glass. On the nose there's a mix of cerry, licorice and herbs. The palate has some asperity and with mature and nice tones mixed with balanced tannines.

December 25, 2011 - Very nice on the nose and in taste with earthy and leathery tones.

May 25, 2008 - The Echeverria Limited Edition 2004 was a weird wine. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, cherry cola. Nice texture, but it doesn't all come together on the finish. JD87
