  July 23, 2021 - Medium to deep color. Darker than I had expected for 100% Counoise. Raspberry and dark chocolate on the nose. Medium body. A bit of heat on nose and palate. High acidity. Paired well with a few cheeses but definitely NOT parmesan. I'd guess this is peaking, won't get any better.

  March 29, 2021 - Well those are mixed previous reviews. I found the wine very enjoyable. I long ago tired of the overly extracted and manipulated fruit bombs that were passed off as wine. Wine is a reflection of the grapes as grown and this tastes of the vines, vineyard and the fruit. It’s austerity and acid make it a very good food wine. After all that’s why wine was invented. Not to be guzzled until you fall over. Thanks to Broc Cellars for producing wine instead of a facsimile.

  November 15, 2020 - As with most Broc wines, the purity of the fruit shines through. Somewhat brooding, spicy, with a good dark plum mid-palate.
