September 22, 2019 - Very dark purplish red. Poured into a decanter for 1 hour, then back into the bottle and corked it. A few hours later, poured into a decanter and served. EXC flavors of blackberry cranberry and violets, with a fair bit of French oak. Medium body. Juicy; expanding waves of flavor. Medium, slightly drying tannins. Less acid than I'd like. Expect this will improve for a few years, then hold quite a while.

The most Burgundian wine I've had from this Pinot-only producer in the RRV. Nice folks; nice facility. Definitely worth a visit.

92-94 points. But for $110, won't be buying this bottling again.
