May 24, 2013 - Birthday Celebration (Chicago, IL): Apricot and creme brulee character with a touch of lemon zest. Long and intense with an unctuous consistency. Can this last 100 years?

February 19, 2012 - From 500ml Berry Brothers bottling. Dark brown, a fair bit of sediment. Lots of honey and burnt sugar on the nose. This follows through on the palate but with plenty of balancing acidity. Finish rounded but quite short. More interesting than stunning.

December 19, 2011 - Murky nose of molasses, dark, burnt sugar, burnt peel. Good acid on the palate, lively, citrus peel. Really perfect. Bright like it is young. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 2/2 = 18/20.
