  May 17, 2022 - Dark fruit, cloves, green pepper. The mouthfeel is heavy, almost Syrah like, without much vibrancy or grip.

  October 4, 2021 - Deep Red Color. Heavy Ripe Plum and lite Berry on the nose. Good Body but a bit Lighter than I had expected. Plum and Berry taste. Good Tannins. Oddly a bit of Green Tea in the taste that was unexpected. I expected a little more concentration from a 2016 Red. Our Fingerlakes 2016 were very concentrated and a stellar vintage due to the dry hot summer. Still a tasty wine and enjoyed but a strong 88 or week 89 rating for me. Still nice and would recommend.

  August 14, 2021 - I needed the tannin. A week of drinking rum punch and random seafood had me reaching for the most expensive cab on the menu (Champers Barbados) and ordering steak. Tannin check. Thanks can sav. Also a greeness .. didn't want your acidic weirdness... is that you merlot? (Didn't invite you). Standard 500% markup on wine means I'm drinking stuff I'd never drink.
