February 11, 2024 - Super Bowl from mag. Very much intact. Straw colored. Fruit fresh.

August 6, 2023 - Seemed little numb. Lack of minerality and acidity. Entering oxidation? (From same lot as a bottle tasted day before which was heavily oxidated)

March 26, 2023 - Elegant lemon sherbet, fresh buttered pastry, yellow plum, dried herbs and citrus oil on the nose, with a twist of anise. There’s a cool precision and freshness on the palate, very well judged, that rounds out beautifully towards the medium length finish.

December 16, 2022 - Elegant nose of ripe peach, fresh butter, quince and yellow plum, with wafts of white flowers and a hint of vanilla biscuit. Something almost tropical here too, perhaps pineapple. Manages to combine richness with precision. Dense mouthfeel, combined with a punch of fresh acidity. The oak is completely integrated at this stage. Medium length finish with a slightly saline tang. Beautiful, suave and quintessential Chassagne.

June 4, 2022 - This was absolutely brilliant even from tiny, thick-rimmed glasses - to the extent that my hosts took photos of the bottle! Thrillingly concentrated, with some reduction on the nose that provided interest but didn't dominate, and delicious flavours on the palate, like tarte au citron served with creme Chantilly - mouthwatering. Definitely one of those wines that justifies the 'big village 1er cru' premium.

April 25, 2021 - Nose with straw and hay and citrus peel underneath. On the palate citrus, orange peel, lemongrass, and a lot of nice minerality and gunpowder flint that carries on into a long finish. Lovely. Developed nicely since my last tasting almost on the date one year ago, but still young and vibrant. I love this. 93-94++ P

October 23, 2020 - Part of a big burgundy lineup last night. This wine marries a creaminess with a less fruit forward version of many 15s...really enjoyable.

April 13, 2020 - Absolutely love this style from Caroline L´Estimé. Nose with light citrus peel and a firm minerality underneath. Sense the gunpowder, flint and limestone. On the palate citrus, lime, orange peel and nice minerality. Perfect acidity grip. Medium long finish. Curios to see how it will develop in years of cellaring; no sign yet of the “butter fatness”. But like this in the youth – so vibrant and yet very elegant. 93-94P
