September 21, 2019 - Finally had the right dinner to bring this stellar wine to.
Visual: deep garnet in the center with a touch of a rust hue on the rim.
Nose: sweet blackberry jam, plum and raisins
Mouth: grippy black fruit on the palate as well as blackberry and fig. The tannin is soft and takes a back seat to the event.
Conclusion: the wine is elegant but at the same time has tension. There is no hard hit in the beginning, starts off light and has a long finish. It focuses on the mid palate and disappeared slowly filling your entire mouth with a whisper of fresh black fruit.
March 11, 2019 - Tasted blind. New world, quite obvious, on the nose with all the sweet red fruit it could have been a great Californian Pinot Noir. The palate hinted at something different. Guesses centered around Central Californinan Grenache. Quite far away. This was a very nice experience. I‘ve had a bottle of the hailed 2013 vintage back in November (no CT note) and it was wild, volatile and not ready (bottle shock from recent air travel?). This wine showed that these wines don‘t need years and years to come around. Great wine with a seductive nose as the highlight.
TN: Striking and intriguing nose with intense sweet, slightly candied cherries and strawberries. On the palate and finish accompanied by some herbal, wood and earth scents but the sexy fruit currently has the spotlight. All this intensity is wrapped in a nice, soft, balanced structure with fine tannins and an at times a bit too dashing acidity. All in all, this remains a very well balanced wine, really a tad reminiscent of a Californian Pinot Noir with just a tad more masculine tannin structure.
Decanting: This got 1.5h in the decanter which seemed about right. Good from the first glass.
March 11, 2019 - 1-1.5h decant. Tasted blind. Dark fruit with the first whiff but also some red berries that quickly gain in dominance. Pretty ripe, slightly candid fruit profile. Also some herbs and fine spices. A bit elevated acidity on the palate. Ultra-fine earth and oak, humble in appearance. Full bodied with tangible alcohol and fine-grained tannins, yet impressive how elegant this comes across. Over some time in the glass the green, herbal character comes more and more to the fore showing pretty amazing fresh spring herbs and herbal tea. Remains fresh and juicy on the palate. A great Cab Franc and I am considering adding this to the cellar. Would be great to have in a line-up against the Cab Franc cousins in Italy and Loire. Make sure to do a proper decant, we were told this was very greenish fresh from the bottle.
January 31, 2019 - Lemon verbena, cassis, smoked bacon, nettle, lactic, not harmonious.

November 17, 2018 - Great nose, soft cool cab franc with a mineral firm end. Needs time but was ok with good decant.
October 27, 2018 - Crisp intellectual Franc. Great but not my thing.
September 13, 2018 - Agree with most recent reviews. A good wine but nothing special worth that price.
Fruity but thin and low acidity. Soft tannins. I don’t get any complexity.
These guys must have better marketers than Coca Cola to get 98 points and a $100 price point
September 7, 2018 - Drank through the night shift at Oinoscent. Very dense, thick ripe red and black fruit, oak and a touch of oak, spicy, velvety tannins. The fruit feels riper than the last time I tried the wine, it seems it had expanded, opened up, you can almost chew the fruit now. Medium to full body, medium acidity, smooth and easy to drink. Outstanding
