September 16, 2023 - Medium gold color
Medium plus aromas of bruised apple/ pear with mild oxidative nutty notes
Medium plus bodied with rich/ creamy mouthfeel - palate of ripe apple - not much oak spices on the nose but definitely remain on the palate
Medium plus alcohol and medium acidity
Average length
Might be bottle variation but this is quite advanced compared to previous bottles Ive enjoyed - Drink now -

Pale to medium gold. Filtered
Aromatics medium +. New oak, but not overdone. Cream. Yellow apple. Butterscotch.
Palate has medium + body. Acid medium. No phenolics. Alcohol medium. Pear and yellow apples
Finish has medium + length. Balanced.
Dry glass notes of bread
I guessed 2017 California Chardonnay from Sonoma. Really enjoyed the nose.
Drinks well now. Not convinced aging will add more given acid levels. -

December 27, 2022 - Medium gold color
Medium plus aromas of yellow apples/ butterscotch/ cream notes with mild /moderate new oak influence
Medium plus bodied with palate of yellow apple/ apple skin and strong salinity at finish - really nice
Medium acidity and medium plus alcohol with no notable phenolics
Moderate finish - dominated by alcohol but kept in check nicely by this salinity
Well made SRH Chardonnay - drink now or hold 3-5 yrs
