September 22, 2023 - Really tastes better than it has on my previous occasions. Perhaps waiting a little bit was rewarded.

June 7, 2022 - Really just trying too hard. Feels over extracted. With no complexity to back it up.

September 8, 2021 - Very good medium body cab from Sonoma. A bit overpriced, but good overall. Light fruit taste, not too tannic.

March 22, 2021 - Average Napa cab. Would not have wanted to serve it with a steak, but it was certainly not bad with sausage peppers and onionshh

  • Glenn Gilbert Does not like this wine: 79 points

March 5, 2021 - 14.2% alcohol; I reviewed the 2015 vintage of this wine on 7/2/2018 for CellarTracker while on an Alaska cruise with a very different result rating the wine at overall score of 90, a big gap from today's tasting; real cork with up to 4 cm wine penetration, almost all the way through the cork, with intricate monogramming and designs, medium weight foil; fast legs, very dark red;; the cork intimates that the wine will be (stone) fruit forward, and the nose from the poured wine confirms that impression; the nose of fruit is tempered by vegetables like peeled carrots, cauliflower, and artichokes; opened, vinturied, and tasted right away at approximately 10 degrees C; full bodied, less sweet and fruity than I anticipated; a somewhat bitter component, clearly not sweet, is a little stronger on the sides of the tongue and in the medium finish than I would like; (stone fruit) sourness is well integrated; this is not a good food wine and I wouldn't especially like to drink it solo either; the Germans say 'mislungen', something went wrong in the selection of the grapes or the production of the wine
