    July 5, 2019 - Delicious bouquet of fruit with a wonderful soft tanninc structure. Subtle but very nice finish.

    January 7, 2019 - Possibly the best Brunello I have ever drank. Whoever suggested this wine should be drunk by 2016 misunderstood this wine. This wine has 5-10 years left. However, it is drinking incredible now.. Balanced, great fruit, aromas, silky mouth feel and soooooo much more. The last 5-10 notes all nailed it in describing this wine. Have it, drink it, dont have it, buy it.

    December 7, 2018 - PnP. Color looks youthful. Nose has some slightly sweet fruit, pie crust, very fresh. A swirl brings out some intensity and tobacco. Medium to full in body with dark, stewed fruit at first. Black cherry, red plum. Quite grippy tannins, lots of acid here. Very nice. This has plenty of life left and I'm sure will continue to evolve.

    After a few hours of slow ox more red fruit comes out on the palate. A pleasurable gamey funk on the nose to go along with the fruit. Man, it's so nice when you take a flyer at auction and the bottle turns out like this. Improves over the course of 4 hours being open. Only held back from a more epic rating from me by the finsih with I wish was longer.

    April 23, 2017 - Uncorked and slow ox'd overnight, then decanter 3 hours before serving. Excellent brunello, but surprisingly still closed after all that time. Still age worthy for many more years.

    March 19, 2016 - After the previous bottle being flawed, I tried another...this one was very good though not the sublime stuff some others have had. Medium to dark garnet color with no sign of age. On the nose I get some alcohol, vanilla/oak, cherry and a slight piney forest floor. Nice rich mouth feel. On the palate the cherry is a bit sour and the oak I'd obvious though not in a bad way. Seems rather new world in style. Great with grilled beef and sautéed mushrooms. Finish is only moderately long.
