March 15, 2022 - The earth element in this wine became more predominant as the wine opened up. The red fruit is bright and rich. The complex flavors, velvety mouthfeel and long full spicy finish make for a special and tasty wine.

April 10, 2021 - Dark color, medium body, rich almost creamy, good balance, complex flavors, a bit more body than the regular body, opened up as we drank the bottle, great sipping towards the end of the bottle, drank with grilled swordfish with basmati rice, would drink again but my only bottle, what is the difference between this and Louise, good stuff but pricey.

June 12, 2020 - Tasted at Domaine Douhin Oregon tasting room. Best wine of the tasting. Tremendous amount of fruit on front, mid and back palate - finish goes on forever!

March 18, 2020 - This is a sexy, expressive wine. Soft nose of acacia flowers and with red and purple flowers and fruits. It explodes on the palate with rich, ripe and sweet fruit consisting of cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, cranberry sauce and strawberry preserves. Slight hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla accent the brightness and purity of fruit. It reads voluptuous but within balance. It exhibits lovely tension between acid and tannin with ripe, luscious fruit throughout without being jammy or cloying. Lovely.
