July 27, 2021 - Star bright straw gold. Abundant funky nose of burning citrus and funghi. Medium palate is much cleaner than the nose yielding toasted lemon, white guava, and white pepper with a bit of birch on the finish. Medium plus acidity. Medium finish. A fine example of California Fumé style SB. Okay as a sipper, but built for a meal. Swordfish and scallops come racing to mind, but any white fleshed fish or shellfish should pair wonderfully. Or just upscale your fried chicken. It’s good for that, too. Drink now through 2024.

June 12, 2021 - Amazing Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical aromas fill the air of glass. Tastes of butter, tropical fruits, citrus, lemongrass. Crisp and complex. Amazing value for an under $30 bottle of summer sipping wine.

    June 7, 2021 -

May 23, 2021 - A very light Fume, with tropical fruit flavors. The wine even pleased non SB drinkers, it a delight to drink on a hot day.

May 2, 2021 - Pretty nice- sets itself apart from most inexpensive Sauvignon Blanc, showing the usual tropical and citrus fruit tones (lemon, grapefruit, etc), but also a fairly nice dose of smoky minerality or herbal nuance. I definitely got lemongrass as other commenters have noted.

It's not quite not so harmonious or intense to warrant $30 IMO- felt similar to say, Dog Point (N.Z. Sauv Blanc), which costs $10 less and shows far more intensity and even elegance. Still, this was a nice example with fair complexity.
