  • Stein Harald Gullaksen Likes this wine:

March 8, 2024 - Dufter av flint og tre med hint av epler. Nydelig mineralsk og delikat nerverik frukt med en frisk syre og en lang flintaktig utgang.

February 4, 2024 - Lovely wine. Nicely balanced with fresh flowers and a hint of green apples followed by mouth watering acidity and good length. This was a crowd pleaser. Has the balance and stuff to last for years to come.

March 3, 2023 - A new producer for me and I was very impressed. This was elegant. Powerful yet delicate. Ripe stone fruit and citrus. Floral notes. Great balance and acidity. Really impressive. Drinking well now. Will last, but I am not sure it would improve.

December 10, 2022 - Open and radiant, with some more a little more layed-back. Notes of lemon, some lemon oil, minerality, popcorn, some white flowers too, some steely notes, orange zest, some sweet spices. It‘s medium-full bodied, with medium-high acidity cutting through the relative richness. There is a long finish with building up complexity. Another excellent Chssagne from this great producers. (93+)

June 19, 2022 - I tasted this bottle together with 2017 Marc Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes. Les Vergers is more approachable at this moment with ripe lemon, white flowers and popcorn. It was more broad shoulder and less finesse than Chenevottes. Acidity was still high and I believe Vergers will benefit from a few years of cellaring.
