January 9, 2019 - I had a bottle of this a year or so ago and bagged the high burghound rating but I was wrong, guess it shows I don’t know how to access a young wine of great potential, guilty!
Lovely , full of life to come but not I get it , great fruit and length .One bottle left for me but won’t be hurrying.

May 13, 2018 - Best value of the Old Burgundy Tasting. Was highly rated by the group, although did not make my top 5. Lot's of really great fruit.

August 20, 2017 - Not sure what to make of this one - on day one mean and acidic out of the bottle - after few hours the fruit started to fill out but still remained somewhat shrill. The wine has a nice aged pinot nose w/ notes of tea, orange zest and a bit of the primary fruit in the background. On day 2 the fruit filled out a bit more but still lacking given the amount of acidity - so not balanced imo. Hopefully this was just an "off" bottle but has me a worried about the rest of my bottles...

August 19, 2017 - Seems like this is more developed than the last bottle we opened about 18 months ago. Expressive on the nose. Darker fruits, tea, a touch of menthol. Anise, black cherry. Developing some secondary notes. Nice acidity and balance. This still is fresh and enjoyable and could easily go many more years but it is in a nice spot right now.
