April 8, 2021 - My last bottle, and back in form.

Cool climate for sure, with good minerality. The fruit reminds me a bit like a Brunello, with cherry, strawberry and acidity on a dry palate.

March 29, 2021 - This bottle still had some red fruit, and a cool-climate syrah character. However, it was a little faded, with some alcohol poking through. Drink up?

September 12, 2020 - This wine is drinking well at 9 years old. Red fruited, peppery, spicy, good minerality.

June 10, 2020 - Effusive nose with smoke, bacon fat, Wintergreen, blueberry, and blackberry. Some of the fruit has an compote intensity. The palate surprises with zesty acidity and medium body, all around leaner than expected. If I had more than this one bottle, I would hold for 5 more years. The fruit and bones are there. I certainly enjoyed this.

July 18, 2019 - Pop and pour, I should have read my last note, as this take more than an hour to reveal itself. Cool climate for sure, with good minerality. The fruit reminds me a bit like a Brunello, with cherry, strawberry and acidity on a dry palate.
