February 26, 2020 - Grenache Blanc is something that I never really came around to like. This one was no exception, despite the awesome label of JCVD. Bit of VA, bit of oxidative character on the nose. Besides that, lots of overripe green fruit and florals. Medium-bodied, very rich texture, but has this prevailing bitterness that just doesn't make it enjoyable. Low acid as well. Medium finish. Not a wine I'd come back to, but would definitely purchase as a gift just because of the label. Oh well, good marketing.
