March 23, 2023 - No authority on aged Sancerre, all I can say is this seems to be maturing beautifully. It takes on a baklava-like savoryness, with hints of toffee and nougat. Love this extra complexity in a varietal that I thought I knew so well.

February 26, 2023 - From magnum. Doesn't really taste like Sancerre, and hasn't quite evolved into that mythical realm of aged Sancerre that I have heard about. So I guess continue to hold.

July 9, 2021 - P&P the bouquet is not very expressive. On the palate white fruits, limestone, mild acidity and bitterness. Still very youthful, beautiful wine.

August 2, 2020 - Lemon oil gives it a creamy almost fat feel in the mouth but then comes the bracing acidity to cut through it, very nice bottle. I think I detected some tropical fruits with a hint of cut grass. Lovely bottle and drink from now to who the hell cares it will probably last a long long time.

April 8, 2020 - Another lovely showing, and a bit hit tonight. Notes from 2 hrs open. Wonderful nose with with lemon, grassy, marzipan, and a suggestion of oiliness. On the palate, lovely acidity, lemon oil, gooseberry, dense mineral notes and a very clean finish.

August 17, 2019 - Elderberry and grass aromas are intense. Palate is equally intense mineral and acid. Lot of material here and I would prefer this with some bottle age when it has hopefully rounded out.

March 31, 2019 - Crap. I misread this label when I pulled it and thought it was a 2015. Oh well, it was super yummmy. Pure sancerre nose with cut grass and lemon. Electric acidity on the palate, and beautifully textured, with a hint of creaminess, but a very refreshing finish nonetheless. Paired perfectly with all manner of fish and vegetable dishes tonight.
